3.12.0.0876

2012/02/11 06:09:51
Release 3.12.0.0876

* Replay / Observer mode *
A new feature category which only works when watching replay or being observer / referee.

Current Feature:
- Display player resources at upper right corner of screen.

* Information board *

3 new info boards have been add:

APM: displays current and average APM of all players.
Default hotkey: Ctrl + Alt + M ( Replay mode: M )

Production: displays all training, upgrading, researching progress.
Default hotkey: Ctrl + Alt + P ( Replay mode: P )

Army: displays the value of current alive hero and units.
Default hotkey: Ctrl + Alt + A ( Replay mode: A )

Now icons on Hero / Units / Productions / Dota boards can be clicked.
Example: clicking hero icon on hero board jumps the camera to the location of that hero,
and also selects it. (doesn't select if not visible to player)

* Micro *

New feature: Smart subgroup command

When player selects units with different types, these units form subgroups.
Normally only the commands of current active (highlight) subgroup are shown and can be used.
When smart subgroup command feature is activated, the player can use commands of inactive
subgroups simply by pressing the hotkey, this will auto-switch subgroup and press the command button.

Example: When using the Pandaren's ulti (Primal split) and select all 3 elemental pandas,
you can use earth panda's hurl boulder by pressing D, and storm panda's cyclone by pressing C,
even if the unit is not the highlighted subgroup.

- If there are more than one command with the same hotkey, current subgroup has priority.
However if the command is unavailable or already being used, it also switches to other subgroups.

Example: Select Geomancer and all clones, press F to use poof. Choose target and press F again,
it will switch to one of the clones and press the poof button, since the current one is being used
/ in cooldown. Therefore you can simply repeat pressing F and choosing ground to use poof of all clones,
Same for Ensnare (Earthbind), you don't need to press Tab anymore !

New feature: Invoker fast spell

All 10 invoker's spells can be directly used by pressing the hotkey.
It will invoke the spell and press the button for you.
Example: The invoker has no Sun Strike, usually you need to press EEE + R, but now just press T.
The performance is beyond ANY invoker tool made with autohotkey, etc,... because it's NOT based on key pressing.
It doesn't matter what hotkey you set for Quas, Wex, Exort, nor the hotkey of each spell.
Just press the hotkey of the spell you want to use, it will make you be able to use.

- Options in F7 menu - Micro: you can enable / disable the function, and choose whether it should
press the button after invoke, (check directly use), or only invoke (uncheck directly use).
The option "base on hotkey" is an alternate method of invoker fast spell, that invokes spells by
pressing hotkey instead of using ability directly. This option can help when playing non-standard
Dota maps, where the invoker's spell could differ from the standard map. This option assumes
that 4 abilities of invoker have Q, W, E, R as their hotkey.

- It will NOT try to invoke when:
The hero has this spell already.
The invoke ability is in cooldown.
The hero has not learned necessary skills.
Option directly use has been chosen, but the hero has not enough mana to invoke and use the spell.

- The hotkey to press is the same hotkey of the spell being invoked, even if you change it using customhotkey.
- After invoke, it will auto restore the state of element instances (Quas, Wex, Exort) before invoking.

* DreamAuth *

- DreamAuth has been fully rewritten. Performance and stablity has been increased.
- New auto inject method for better stablity and higher success rate.
- Added auto update feature.

* Misc / Bugfixes *

- DreamInstaller is added for easy installation / upgrade.
- Now pressing "/" key (slash) opens chatbox and inputs "/".
This helps to fast input command especially for BNet users.

- All configurable hotkeys accept mouse scroll down/up and middle button as hotkey.
- Show latency (/ping or /lag, /delay, /latency) is pure local and no longer sends the command as chat to other player.
- Info boards are align to upper left corner to save space if no hero icon is available.
- Fixed a problem that player name tag on info board can be triggered by mouse buttons beside left click.

* Features *

- Information Boards: Choose a board from the dropdown list shown on top left of screen.
Currently there are 4 boards:
Resource: Display resources such as gold.
Unit: Player owned units.
Hero: Detail of player heroes (level, abilities, items).
Dota: Detail of heroes and Dota data.

Board rows are grouped by player name (if no alliance exists) or team name.
You can click on a group tag to hide or show the part.
Hotkey of each board can be set in config menu (F7).
For example, hotkey of resource board is Ctrl + Alt + R
Note: when the user is game observer or watching replay,
exact matching of ctrl / alt / shift is not required. For example,
resource board hotkey in observer / replay mode is R.

- Show Lag ( /lag, /ping, /delay, /latency )
Input any command above, the TRUE lag is displayed on screen. Input again to hide.
The true lag measures the real time passed from player action to action takes effect.
Do not wonder that the number is very different from network ping, because it is not ping.
Usually, LAN game lags are between 100~150 ms. Internet games have good performance
if the lag is below 250 ms.

- Spell / Item Cooldown Counter
When a spell or item enters cooldown, the remaining time will be displayed
over the icon. It shows longer time as Min:Sec, i.e. 2:49, for shorter time only the seconds.
Can be turned on/off in config menu (F7).

- Last hit now has a feature that remembers the last command and state before / during last hit mode.
The command will be executed when it quits last hit mode.
For example, the hero was moving before last hit, so it will continue moving when quit last hit.

- Remember Password and Auto Login features are temporary removed. They will be back in next release with brand new DreamAuth.

* Bug Fixes *

- Fixed a problem causing the config menu content not being shown correctly.
- Fixed a bug that dynamic hotkeys do not support shift (queued) action.
